Spices are being used in families from generations. These spices just not only bring the change in the color of the food but also bring a specific taste. Garlic is used at every household for home remedies. It is mostly used in the treatment of hypertension, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular diseases, and stabilizing the level of low-density lipoprotein (in cholesterol) because of its antibiotic properties. Just like ginger and turmeric, it attacks the invading bacteria and further inhibits the bacteria in the intestines, for instance, Campylobacter bacterium because of Diallyl Sulfide that is an active component in garlic. Most of the cancers (lung, brain, and prostate) are said to be treated by the use of garlic but there is no concrete evidence yet. It is highly effective for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the hip. Cirrhosis and alcoholic fatty liver can also be cured and prevented by the use of garlic.

Overall it may be said that ginger, turmeric, and garlic has a lot of positive health benefits. They not just improve immunity by inhibiting the growth of the unwanted bacteria but also the side effects are minimal. From this positive effect, theses spices should be used in a remedy to control the pandemic. As these spices help control diabetes, cholesterol, and cancer, they will also help in fighting against the deadly Coronavirus by improving immunity. These spices will keep the people safe and respiratory system intact.
